Iran Handball team drawn in Group D of Men's Junior World Championship

Tehran Times Sports Desk The draw for the Junior’s handball tournament was carried out in Thessaloniki, Greece and conducted by IHF COC President Leon Kalin. Iran’s team was drawn in group D, along with Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Hungry and the third America’s representative. In this tournament Asia has only 3 representatives, while Europe has 12, America 5 and Africa 4. The groups draw is as follows: Group A: Norway, Tunisia, Serbia, France, Slovenia and the fourth America’s representative Group B: Greece, First America’s representative, Denmark, Qatar, Algeria and Fifth America’s representative Group C: Russia, South Korea, Germany, Egypt, Benin and the Second America’s representative Group D: Iran, Portugal, Spain, Hungry, Switzerland and the third America’s representative The Men's Junior’s World Championship will take place in Greece from 17 to 31 July 2011.
